CONSULTING· COACHING

Listening to oneself and others is both a professional skill and a human birthright. My work lives at that intersection — in workshops and coaching rooms, with teams and with individuals, in organisations that want their internal relationships to match their external purpose.

RACHEL WOODROOF

Conflict Resolution

Where something has broken down, something can also be repaired. I work at the level of the relational rupture — not just the presenting problem.

International Relations

Cross-cultural intelligence isn't only about knowing other contexts. It's about noticing your own assumptions first.

EQ Development

The interior life has exterior consequences. This is the thread running through all of it — relational depth, psychological safety, trauma-informed practice, the moment of disclosure.

Coaching

Goal-oriented, but not shallow. Development that works at the level where strategy, identity, and inner life converge.

Soul Care

Not therapy. Not religion. The ancient practice of walking alongside someone as they listen more deeply to their own life — their longings, doubts, grief, and becoming.

Communications

Clarity is a form of care. I work with positioning, internal and external voice, and the alignment between what an organisation says it values and how it actually speaks.

Meet Rachel

I am driven by a single conviction that being heard is a structural act.

My background spans conflict management, international relations, business development, holistic soul care and coaching - a combination that doesn't often come together. It means I can build frameworks that hold up in boardrooms and sit with people in the tenderest, interior places of their lives.

I came to this work through my own encounters with systems that lacked listening skills — organisations, institutions, and structures that, though well-intentioned, still caused harm through inattention. As I learned these skills, I was changed by them. Calmer. Clearer. More grounded. I have spent the years since offering the same to others — and watching them reap the rewards too.

I believe the most consequential act of leadership is the quality of your attention. I believe soul and skill are not opposites. And I believe that presence and attunement is a human right that organisations either protect or quietly erode, one conversation at a time.

EQ outranks IQ as a key indicator of leadership performance according to research. Attuned listening is the first step...

Emotional Intelligence is a Hard Skill

Rachel works with the Greenhouse EQ

Leadership Index — a framework that makes emotional intelligence teachable, observable, and measurable. At the centre is Attuned Listening: the  capacity to hear what another  is actually experiencing and respond to build trust.

We work with teams and leaders navigating psychological safety, neuroinclusion, and the relational demands of complex organisations.

Goals

To build a recognised, evidence-based framework for emotional intelligence that organisations adopt as infrastructure - not inspiration. A methodology that certifies practitioners, and outlasts any single workshop.

To create a social enterprise that embodies the work — and makes it available to the people and communities who need it most. Present, grounded, and free.

Passions

I am driven by a single conviction: being truly heard is a structural act.

When a leader listens with presence, attunement and precision, trust forms, people disclose, and teams become capable of things they couldn't be before.

I want to make that skill - and the soul work underneath it - impossible to dismiss.

Direction

Toward measurable, evidence-based impact built on the EQ Index: the kind that strengthens institutions, develops individuals, and over time shifts how communities relate to one another.

Integrated Leadership Development

The most honest thing I can say about my leadership coaching is that it doesn't begin with strategy. It begins with the person.

It is directly informed by my practice of soul care — not therapy and not religion, but the ancient discipline of walking alongside someone as they listen more deeply to their own interior life: their longings, doubts, grief, and becoming. I use the term holistic soul care because the whole person comes — body, mind, history, and spirit — and is changed for the better.

Holistically healthy leaders make strong, healthy cultures.

Some come for a reason, some a season, and some for life. All are welcome.
